Future Electronics Has the Latest Family of 3D Magnetic Sensors from Infineon

Montreal, Canada – August 9, 2018 – Future Electronics, a global leading distributor of electronic components, now carries Infineon’s new 3D magnetic sensor family.

Infineon’s latest TLE/TLI/TLV493D 3D magnetic sensors offer accurate three dimensional sensing with extremely low power consumption. Within a small 6-pin package, these sensors provide direct measurement of the x, y, and z components of a magnetic field, which make them ideal for sensing 3 dimensional movement within a magnetic field, linear slide movement, and 360° angle rotation.

Future Electronics customers will now be able to choose a contactless position sensing alternative for applications which traditionally use mechanical or optical solutions. The system size for these applications can also be reduced, as magnetic threshold stability over temperature provides a highly accurate and more robust solution for those systems.

They are ideally suited to control elements, joysticks and E-meters (anti-tampering), as well as in low-power 3D magnetic automotive applications such as indicators and gear shifters. In keeping with the highest quality standards and environmental regulations, the sensor is RoHs compliant, JESD47 or AEC-Q100 qualified, and meets functional safety standard ISO 26262.

THE EDGE by Future Electronics Features Nichia’s Breakthrough Optisolis White LEDs

Montreal, Canada – August 6, 2018 – Future Electronics, a global leading distributor of electronic components, is showcasing the revolutionary new Optisolis line of white LEDs from Nichia in the latest edition of THE EDGE.

The Optisolis family of white LEDs from Nichia delivers ultra-high Color Rendering Index (CRI) values. Their light output has the closest possible match to that of natural light, the result of the application of proprietary Nichia blue chip and phosphor technology.

Lighting equipment manufacturers can use Optisolis LEDs to enable artificial lighting schemes in which all colors appear almost exactly as they would under the light of the reference light source. And since ultraviolet emissions are almost non-existent in the Optisolis spectrum, degradation caused by irradiation is dramatically reduced compared to the damage caused by the UV emissions from other commercially available LEDs.
