Hirose FH64MA Flat Printed Circuit Connector Featured in THE EDGE by Future Electronics

For Immediate Release:

Summary: Future Electronics is featuring Hirose’s space-saving Flat Printed Circuit Connector in the latest edition of THE EDGE.

Press Release:

Montreal, Canada – March 13, 2020 – Future Electronics, a global leading distributor of electronic components, is featuring the Hirose FH64MA Series Flat Printed Circuit Connector in this month’s edition of THE EDGE.

The FH64MA Series features two different connectors: an 11 position mounting type FPC and a 15 position connector. Their reduced thickness accommodates the height of main components used in most smart devices. There are several FPCs on the main board, but the FH64MA Series connector’s super low profile feature allows it to be mounted in the narrow dead space between FPCs and the main board to utilize space. Two design features ensure excellent FPC retention force: metal locking tabs that catch the FPC tabs, and the sharp edge on the lower contact beam that presses into the FPC stiffener. This connector is great for applications requiring high-density packaging.

TE Connectivity’s FPC Connectors Featured in Latest FLS All in 1 NPI Newsletter

Summary: Flexible Printed Circuit (FPC) connectors from TE Connectivity are featured in this month’s FLS All in 1+ NPI newsletter from Future Electronics.

Montreal, Canada – November 27, 2019 – Future Electronics, a global leading distributor of electronic components, is featuring Flexible Printed Circuit connectors from TE Connectivity in this month’s FLS All in 1 NPI newsletter.

TE’s FPC interconnects are ideal where small centerline spacing makes larger wire-to-board interconnects impractical. As the market trends towards miniaturization, FPC connectors have been developed to meet the challenges of an expanding market that demands smaller centerlines, lower profiles, and lighter interconnect solutions. TE’s FPC interconnects utilize an actuator to secure the cable termination and are field terminatable, so they require no tooling.
