Montreal, Canada – July 16, 2020 – Future Electronics, a global leading distributor of electronic components, is featuring the Bosch BMP390L Longevity Barometric Pressure Sensor in their latest e-newsletter, Sense Connect Control.

Bosch BMP390L high-performance longevity digital barometric pressure sensor serves the needs of demanding and emerging industrial markets that include robots, drones, home appliances and logistics, white goods, among others needing a sensor with a long lifecycle, absolute accuracy and a low TCO simultaneously.

The BMP390L is part of Bosch Sensortec sensors that expand on its predecessors. This pressure sensor covers a wide measurement range, coupled with low power consumption and high performance, hitting a sweet spot of attractive price with functionality. The barometric pressure sensor is available in a compact 10-pin metal-lid LGA package with a footprint of just 2.0 x 2.0 and 0.75 package height, allowing low power consumption of 3.2-µA at 1 Hz for implementation of battery-driven devices.

Silex Technology‘s SX-NEWAH-US module is the industry’s first 802.11ah Wi-Fi HaLow module to operate in the Sub 1Gz license-exempt band that allows secure connection to smart devices over long distances using minimal power. Testing the SX-NEWAH-US module can easily be accomplished using the SX-NEWAH-EVK-US Evaluation Kit, enabling you to uncover the benefits of using 802.11ah Wi-Fi HaLow technology.

To set up the SX-NEWAH-EVK, use the SX-NEWAH-US module and interface board to connect the evaluation kit with the Raspberry-Pi development board, and begin developing and designing hardware for your 802.11ah IoT application.

The Renesas RA4W1 microcontroller group is the first 48MHz Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) 5.0 compliant single chip MCU. Compliant with 2Mbit High-Throughput (HT) and Long Range support, the RA4 product series is perfect for IoT applications that require a high-performance Arm® Cortex® M4 core at a very attractive price point.

The Renesas RA4W1 series is built on a highly efficient 40nm process and is supported by an open and flexible ecosystem concept called Flexible Software Package (FSP), which uses the FreeRTOS as a base. The RA4W1 32 bit microcontroller is geared towards IoT applications requiring security, large embedded RAM and low power consumption.

The RA4 Series by Renesas bridges the needs for reasonable low power with the demand for connectivity and performance. These Renesas MCUs deliver up to 48MHz of CPU performance using an Arm® Cortex®-M4 core with up to 256kB of embedded flash memory. The RA4 series offers a wide set of peripherals, including USB, CAN, ADC, capacitive touch, a segment LCD controller, and additional security IP integration, making it suitable for industrial equipment, home appliances, office equipment, healthcare products, and meters.
